Hi, my name is Jo Dylan, and I’m an analyst here at True Potential.
I moved to True Potential from Standard Life in Edinburgh, where I worked in the new business team in their SIPP Department.
Tell us about your area of expertise?
I’d say my area of expertise comes down to getting the job done and not being fazed by change. I have been at True Potential for six years now, starting in the Platform administration team, then working on, designing and starting up the TPI free pension. From there I moved to the investment management team and helped launch the first of the True Potential Wealth Strategy funds, moving on to the True Potential Portfolios. I then project managed the launch of our own True Potential Growth Aligned funds.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
What I enjoy most about the job is that you never stand still for long, before working on bringing something new for our clients.
What makes the company special?
What makes our company special? It is that we are not afraid of change, we embrace it. We are constantly looking at ways to improve the client experience so that clients are truly at the forefront of everything we do.
What are the most important things to consider for first time investors?
When thinking about investing for the first time, think about investing little and often. I only opened my first ISA while working at True Potential, but by using impulseSave® I have managed to invest small amounts often. As I invest small amounts, I don’t notice them going at the time, but they do all add up.
What are you most excited about in regard to the future of the company?
What excites me most about the future of the company is that I can’t predict what it will be, True Potential keeps you on your toes!
