Professor Sharon Collard, Chair of the Open University’s True Potential Centre for the Public Understanding of Finance, will be speaking at the Innovate Finance Global Summit 2015 on 9th May in London. The event aims to promote the future of finance through technology.
Profession Collard will be part of a panel discussing ‘Financial Literacy for the Next Generation’, focusing on teaching young people about money. This is an exciting step for True Potential PUFin, as we look to share our expertise and leverage the work that we are currently doing to empower the UK public to better manage their finances.
We’re proud of the work True Potential PUFin has done since launching in 2013. Our first free personal finance course, Managing My Money, has now seen over 37,000 learners register. We’ve committed to a five-year plan of financial support for True Potential PUFin, so we’re delighted the Centre is addressing the needs of tomorrow’s savers, as well as today’s.
